Direct Primary Care
Doctors have learned that they can dramatically reduce the cost of running their practice if they go to a direct primary care model. This is different than concierge medicine, which tends to have an annual fee of roughly two thousand to 12 thousand dollars a year. In direct primary care, it's more about giving lower cost care to people by cutting insurance companies out of it for routine care. It does, though, still mean you need an insurance policy for hospitalization.
