Is There a Lack of Intellectual Curiousness Within the Academy?

When you demonstrate knowledge of British political history, they go, why are you talking us down as a nation? Yeah, I mean, British people don't like to hear about themselves. And that's, you know, that is the kind of fallacy of this. It fundamentally comes from this idea of like, you're too stupid to be here,. Like that's what they associate these particular forms of knowledge production. They associate it with stupidity because of their idea of who's producing it. Is that what is that if not an intolerance to intellectual challenge or an in curiosity?
