The Importance of Cardio for Muscle Growth

To achieve true Overtraining where you really run your body into the ground and you develop a huge recovery deficit it is much more difficult than I once believed. It only consistently happens with high level athletes who train many hours per week Very intense often some very intense cardio workouts or circuit training type workouts. Cardio can significantly interfere with muscle building but there's actually research that shows that doing a couple hours or so of moderate intensity cardio per week can actually improve muscle growth in several different ways.
