The Importance of Embedded in Chinese Cultural Context and Social Context

The field of disability studies is still dominated by American and British scholars. The most important framework and theory are created and contributed by scholar in America and United States and the UK. We often think of disabled people as being marginalized within these broader discussions of citizenship, but actually what I found was that disabled people were almost drawn into these discussions about what made a citizen. And thinking about why we need to embedded in Chinese historical developments is really important too.
