The instant you've got a language of the vowel harmony, you're going to have front rounded vowels. Your syllable shape is going to do all sorts of funkiness to your sound system as well. And also, once I start getting the phoneme inventory sketched out, I also think of phonotaxis and whether it's tonal or stress accent or pitch accent or whatever. The other thing we are going to talk about today is an oxlang and an international auxiliary language called vo la pique. Which has the worst name marketing wise for an oxlang that I've ever seen.
