The Failure of the Old Model
Explaining the previous failure is an important starting point, because that's a key input into re defining the problem f space that you find yourself in. In telling my organization that this model that we tried didn't work, is not some giant defeat. It's just a stepping stone in getting a better model. This has a lot to do with the mind set of the person deploying the model. The great john sterman of mit says, yo, know, all models are wrong. They're an abstraction on life.
