The Russian Fish. What Did It Do?

The machine was created by the Germans at the end of World War II to listen into Russian communications on the Eastern front. The idea was that the Soviets had multiple ways of communicating, at least they thought securely. It's got a number of gauges, a lot of different handles on it, a bunch of switches and looks like something out of a Hollywood set for a James Bond movie. But this is a real device.
