Sister ping was very entrepreneurial she had grown up in a place in China called Fujian Province which is kind of sliver of coastline in southeast China. She would bring people by ship and so it really becomes this kind of jumbo business where all in she ends up bringing thousands of people to the United States. It's funny because one of the sort of stereotypes is that people would come and work for years as mentored servants or what have you but that doesn't actually make any sense.
