The Congenital Fetal Long QT Interval Syndrome

The congenital fetal long QT interval syndrome is a big one to watch out for. It's associated with complex arrhythmias including trisod de pons and second degree AV block. This requires fetal echocardiogram for diagnosis, which needs MFM and pediatric cardiology input. The incidence of inherited long QT syndrome in the general population is about 1 in 2000 or 0.05%. Remember said it's pretty rare, but it's also dangerous.
