This is a story about minorities who under the social contract theory, don't have any say in what's going on in society. That's the power of persuasion that they use over probably more time than we would be comfortable admitting was necessary. We're going to pick up this story next week and look at how it's possible to in a majoritarian society, minorities can actually gain substantial increases in their standards of living.
