It's so fascinating that of all the 15,000 students at your university people remark to you or at least one person did that you were the last person who would look like their parents had died. And so it was very remarkable and speaks to your ability in some sense to reframe what you were doing and I have lived in that reality for sure. "I think that moment prior to those holiday break really it was really quite insightful for me to be able to see who I had in a short space of time become as a man even in the face of great adversity," he says.
