Is There a Future for the US Dollar?
I think we could have something like a digital SDR that is issued by the IMF as the sort of proto global central bank, similar in its role to what the World Health Organization was doing with this pandemic. And then that would be used to back up national central bank cryptocurrencies. I think that impact of that is going to be a much bigger role for China internationally, economically. The US dollar system creates imbalances because the US is just printing money and other countries need to produce things for the US.
