Are You Concerned About the Quality of the Words?
In an ideal day, when you have managed to get four hours done before anyone intrudes, is there a name for that four hours? Is there a word count? Are you aiming for a particular point in the story? Not anymore. I've had days where I'm just kind of laying map for a bunch of stuff that's forward. If I'm writing well, really writing, I can't pretty chunky days. You're concerned about the quality of those words. But like, towards the back end of a book, I mean, I've had streaks where I write it. It was harder for me to not be in the book than to being in the book.
