I realized one of my areas of concern prior to being diagnosed was feeling like it was going to be my last meal. If we go bottom line, food is fuel. And yes, we should enjoy it. But there's a difference between pretending every night is like your 21st birthday and then all of a sudden you can take this meal with me. It really is so eye opening to understand a little bit more about some of the decisions that we make. Our brains are making them for us.
