Is There a Single Optimizable Answer?
The new book is titled Make Better Decisions. The real journey in the book I think for me was that I'd always been really fascinated with cognitive biases and how we have evolved to be such fast efficient thinkers. And there's also the overarching sort of perspective of it that humans are fallible decision makers because we're emotional, whereas machines are great decision makers because they have no emotion. So the book is about trying to pull these two worlds together you know the rational emotional human decision maker with data and machines that are ubiquitous everywhere all the time.
