A New BMJ Study Suits That Artificial Sweeteners Can Increase Heart Disease Risk

A new BMJ study suggests that artificial sweeteners, especially aspartame and sucralose, can increase the risk of cardiovascular disease. The average daily intake was 77 milligrams a day for people who consumed high intakes of artificial sweeteners. That's about two packets of artificially sweetened sweeteners or 200 milliliters of diet pop a day.
