The Abolitionist's Guide to Freedom
The novel is really interested in like, okay, once that's true, what do we do with those who have done harm now? And it's just creating more harm is just creating more torture and profiting off that torture. I hope that for readers, it can at least open up that inquiry because I think we've or I know rather that we're presented with systems that we're supposed to just kind of accept. It takes a long, hard, cold look in the mirror and a lot of doing to get there.
