The Power of Competition
i found the jazz part of my dad's record collection he had grown up playing a bunch of jazz and so you know all of a sudden there was miles and chikoria and coltrane. My grandparents on my mom's side are all almost all professional musicians largely in the classical world. They both sort of separately sat me down with with bach this is what i want that with oh oh oh, that's when counter-point happens. I feel like he was uh he was the gateway into a much larger musical universe.
