The Limitation Condition in Hopper's Theory
Hopper himself always said his theory was purely metaphysical. People would ask him, is your own theory falsifiable? And he'd kind of laugh at him because that meant that he was declaring his theory to be metaphysical. He's talking about corroboration. It's not really a testable theory. So there's no way to move it towards the realm of doing experiments on it. Yet what we're doing is we're offering counter examples to it.
