Women's Place in the Gym

A TikTok video made by a woman who was filming herself at the gym under the pretense of documenting the way that men at the gym stare at her. She claimed she made it to raise awareness of her doing hip thrusts, like a barbell in the foreground and some poor unsuspecting gym style in the background glancing in her direction. To me, it seemed less in the interest of looking at her body and more probably because she was filming herself. That was my first impression. And I say that as someone who... I do sometimes take selfies at the gym and I actually have found that men look away because they are so embarrassed. But I am a hero behavior.
