Is There an Age of Active Discourse?
In the seventies, there was no work in the seventies that gave people time to think andma to meet with each other. Most architects f and my references new york were situated in manhattan, mostly in midtown, in those days. So anyhow, we are not in an age of active discourse. And frankly, some of the architecturae schools have really fallen asleep. i do think in order to stimulate discoursea exchange of ideas, passionate exchange of ideas you cant have people in the same room. I may be old fashioned, but i think that's true.
