There's a kind of cottage industry on, on critiquing James Lindsay. And I really liked a lot of people came into his defense. It's like you're missing something. If you don't find this in gearing, you're some kind of idiot. People do not retreat because it's easily mocked. They actually stand up and say, no, this is unfair, right? You're being unfair. That's a great process to correct our emergent understanding of something in public. But if the environment in which the public comes to understand what it thinks about stuff was truly indifferent, that would be wonderful.
