Violin - Scales or Something Else?

I'm very interested in the violin items. In terms of what are they? They like scales or I always thought that more of an incremental reading style of scheduling for music would be really interesting. For example, doing incremental composition. You record 30 seconds, for example, on the guitar of a riff you thought was really cool. And then you just slowly develop it over time. OK, that's really interesting. But what were the items that you were making for violin were they like scales, like I said, or something else? Yeah, there was a combination. There were definitely scales there.
