Gove's Proposals to Tackle the Problem of Development Corporations
Gove has set out some proposals which he thinks will tackle all the problems. He wants a government sponsored bunch of development corporations that would oversee developments in specific areas like Cambridge. On top of that, additionally, there's a squad of super planners who are going to bring together and get the best minds on the problem. All of these things have been tried, not only by labor, but by them. So they're simply re-announcing things they've already tried with no clear answer. This is just politicking, this is about the election. They suddenly realise that people really do care about housing,. That the housing crisis is hitting every part of the electorate whether you're renting or wanting
