How Do You Write for Foreign Publications?

A final question before we get ofthe ting process and actually get tho your wonderful new book, is sort of, you make a living doing longform journalism and doing journalism. One thing that's struck me about writing for foreign publications is that the cultural difference between you and your editor also applies to how you look at your writing. So one thing, for example, that you have to do for those guys is that you need to explain things which the indian reader would take for granted. And therefore you need to simplify, slash a dumb it down. That really became an irritating process.
