The Different Types of Seeds
The seeds of the amomum species of cardamens are bright black in color outside, white inside. They are slightly aromatic, very hot and pungent. Poppy seed oil is sometimes used as an adulterant in olive oil. The seeds of another species, fennel penmorium, grown in Bengal, have a warmish, very sweet taste and aromatic smell.
