If you were paying 25% of your income towards rent, that's $6,664 per year. That leaves you with about $19,000 to spend on absolutely everything else. You can actually have paid work up to 29 hours per week, which is like just a little bit over part time. And you can do this without losing your disability support payment. But as much as that is income tested, so they'll make sure like obviously, if you're earning 100 grand from those 25 hours, they're going to be like, man, you don't get this. So we need to weigh up the pros and cons.
