Kebesa Devaka and the Other Spaniards

Kebesa Devaka and his three companions had made it back from oblivion, traveling together roughly 2,500 miles since leaving Texas the previous year. Many didn't want him to leave, but in the end he would finally convince the Indians that it was time to depart. Andres Derantes turned down a leading position in a new expedition going north, instead settling into a comfortable life in New Spain.
