Theocracy in the Church
We don't believe in a theocracy and as Christians we believe, oh yes, the church is the theocracy, we belong to the Lord. But civilly speaking, we don't have that. What we do have is we have our own lives governed. We are governed by the laws of God, we're governed by the covenant that Jesus establishes in his own blood. And so, you know, we can make as many connections between Maccabees chapter 13 and our own lives.
