He's never happy. He can't have already fun. I mean, he's got no enjoyment in things that make him feel like him. He has to dissociate away from his current state by getting drunk or being in this pretend reality in order to start acting like the version of himself he wants to be. His own reality is so miserable that he can't until he escapes it. And then because he's not being honest, as we're talking about not being touched in, as soon as she does that, he vilifies her. Yep.
