Cajun French in Louisiana

There are still people in Louisiana who speak Cajun French. It's a Creole kind of language where it has a backbone of French, but also English. When you hear them speaking at least modern, modern people speaking 'Cajun' sounds like they're just using an English accent, but they're speaking in French. "They pull in so many phrases from say English and French, just so mixed up, it's just nuts"
