The Book of Mormon is unaware of any doctrines past 1829. Joseph Smith was able to backdate everything that happens up into his lifetime. But all of these things that he's going to evolve to and create in his theology just are absent. The Garden of Eden was in Missouri, the first people on earth lived there.
