Congress Should Wake Up and Get Religion Tomorrow
Michael Wolraich: Congress should first eliminate all federal Medicaid spending. He says that would go a long way toward balancing the federal budget. States could maintain their Medicaid programs exactly as they are right now, he says. Wolraich also suggests means-testing Medicare enrollees to make it more affordable for seniors.
