There's another 20% hike due on the 1st of April. It was originally announced in the autumn statement. I've written to the Chancellor Jeremy Hunt asking him to postpone that rise. If we postpone this rise, it is likely from July by that point, wholesale prices will have gotten to the price cap. We pay a lower amount if they do and so far there has been no delay at all. The Treasury is going to spend tens of billions of pounds less than predicted last November when it announced the energy price guarantee was going to go up because wholesale rights have come down very significantly. Is this the best way to help people in fuel poverty though? Wouldn't it be better to target
