The Off-Water Crisis
Household water bills are going up seven and a half percent this year, adding to the cost of living crisis for many households. The business secretary Kami Badenok was asked how concerned she is about Thameswater collapsing. And then on the other side, we've got Ed Miliband, the shadow climate change secretary. What's happened on water is a total condemnation of the mismanagement by this government over 13 years of the regulation of the water industry. Huge dividends paid out. Huge debts taken on. Customer bills rocket into rivers. Sewage being dumped in rivers and sea. So the government has got to come forward what are they going to do to sort this out? Do we know why
