The Importance of Friendship in Marriage

David Perry: My biggest objection to affirming, I don't even like that term or side A, I can have gay marriage, whatever those terms, is like, you don't get it. You are stuck in that dualism of eros in agape because you think it's all bad news for you if you can't have marriage. But I'm like, the whole gospel is like, that is not that important. Actually you can have this crazy eros with God andcrazy eros with other people in agape and live this really fecund and beautiful life of glory being a eunuch. And no matter where they're at, the friendship part is key.
