The History of Bull Fighting in Spain
In 19 91, bull fighting was even banned on the canary islands. In april of two thousand and four barcelona declared itself a city against bull fighting. And then a few years later, in the summer of 20 ten, the catalonian parliament banned it. Although no new bull fights have taken place in the region since. Though they didn't ban bull fighting outright, the law stopped bull's being killed or suffering as part of the fight - which clearly changes the nature of what a bull fight is.
