Biel: Inflation is something that affects everybody in the economy. As a result, it tends to lead to more social unrest and political unhappiness. Recession hurts a smaller part of the economy, i.e. the people who lose their jobs. So I do think that the central bank will be much more focused on inflation risk than the recession risk going forward.
