I Believe in Demons

The growl lasted about five seconds, long enough to know that i wasn't just hearing things or believe for even one second that it was someone messing with us. I could feel my stomach churning and a knot in my throat. It's been 11 years since this happened, and i still hear how loud and powerful that growl was. Looking back, i'm positive that whatever kind of spirit or demon that thing was, it latched on to me while living there. It never left.
