Taking That Big Budget for Granted
Marketers are all of a sudden getting a lot more responsible with their budgets. The budget reductions often prompt people to start doing an analysis on where they're having the most success, and doubling down on those areas. Oftentimes that becomes an conversation around attribution which is often a four letter word. But one of the things i'm seeing frequently is sacrificing strategic marketing for short-term revenue gains.
