As our technology gets better, the amount of security that you w'ud need in order to pull off an operation like that is going down and down and down. And eventually it could end up being a handful of people, or even a single individual. I don't think we know, but no one should be optimistic about that scenario. Let's say that humans do continue for thousands pepsa millions of years, but for some reason we decide just to never leave earth. Almost all the value that humanity could have created has been lost. By the way, i can't think space is overrated, ok? It seems like on or vew that should be likea errific tragedy
