In 20 22, protestants celebrate a victory over catholics. But there are a lot of catholics in northern ireland. So history is mixed. And the battle of boyn i mean, again, historyism is multilared. I think the twelfth of july more of a celebration of unionist culture. The kind of effigies that we've discussed are evidence of members of the loyalist community who, it seems, are bent on provoking their neighbours. Where has that come from? Well, thats come from decades of animosity and of conflict.
