The Limits of Orthodoxy
Albo does not think that belief in the future appearance of Messiah is a litmus test for membership in the Jewish faith. Maimonides' philosophical theology centered on three claims, Albo thinks only God's existence could be proven demonstratively. As long as one accepts some form of reward and punishment after death, one is within the scope of Jewish belief according to Albo.
