"12 K.M." was made as a proof of concept and didn't get into film festivals. It ended up at Ridley Scott's office and it ended up it's got free. So they love it over there. But the consensus is when we went out with that script for the first time for financing was the same week as like Harvey Weinstein. "I've directed for 20 years, but I'm a first time filmmaker," he says. 'With our script that we wrote for 12 K.M., it's under 10, but it's over 4 million to be able to do'
