There's 266 souls on the ship. They're starting to drop anchors, try to slow the ship down so it doesn't violently smash into rocks on the shore. Paul warns him verse 31: If you get out of the ship, you cannot be saved. Do not leave this ship now. We've got to take this the full way. And when he had thus spoken, he took bread and gave thanks to God in presence of them all. Then were they all of good cheer and they also took some meat.
