How to Start a Clean Stream of Urine
Urine is actually sterile when it's in the kidneys. Once it comes out, it will pick up some of your own bacteria from the urinary tract. The idea with clean catches to reduce that amount. It's almost like when you ferment something or when you're going to bake bread, it's not really bacteria that will hurt you. But our own microbes are pleomorphic. They're our own familiar and safe, knowledgeable internal supports.
