Gavin Newsom on the Constitution and Gun Violence

California Governor Gavin Newsom is proposing something never done before on gun control. He wants states to pass a U.S. constitutional amendment that would implement four measures nationwide. The proposals include raising the minimum age for buying a firearm to 21, Mandate universal background checks require a reasonable waiting period and ban the sale of assault rifles to civilians.
