God Gives Gifts That They Do Not Deserve

Theologically, we don't deserve much, at least not much good. That's why grace is so important. God shields sinners from what they deserve and gives gifts that they do not deserve. The key thing is, we think in terms of what we deserve. We're asking god to step in and act on our behalf in a time of difficulty. In the next conversation we'll talk about the yielding side.
