Bali Mun Is a Really Deprived Area, and There's a Huge Amount of Anger There
It's really hard to know how much support these protests have. You can be someone who objects to asylum seekers being housed in an old ESP building, which just isn't suitable. Or you can be protesting because you don't think refugees should be allowed in the country at all. But outside of that, you've got a really organized pushback now. And East Wall, as you said, Drimna, Bali Mun, and Clodock, and there was counter-protest, which I think almost equals the protesters.
