The marshall islands environment minister was happy with what they accomplished in these negotiations, but he emphasized that there was a lot of work left to be done. People living near ports have to deal with the toxic pollutons that are produced by a ship's deasal engines. The i m o is still hashing out how exactly they're going to meet those targets that they committed to back in 18 and now the work of all the subsequent meetings is figuring out how to achieve that.
